Office space in Solna
Looking for an office in Solna? We know the offices in Arenastaden, Solna Business Park and Hagalund and identify premises that suit you, both advertised premises and upcoming vacancies.
What offices are there in Solna?
Solna has a broad office market, from large modern office buildings to smaller premises and serviced offices. This is how we see the different parts:
- Arenastaden stands out with modern and often large offices, and many larger companies are based here.
- Solna Business Park is a dedicated business area with premises for both large and medium-sized companies.
- Hagalund and the parts closest to Stockholm have a different character. They can suit companies that want to be close to the inner city without paying inner-city rents.
Solna is particularly suitable when your staff come from many different parts of Stockholm.
Where are the offices in Solna?
Solna has about 90,000 jobs, and service companies dominate. Office locations include:
Arenastaden
A new district at Solna station, with offices, housing, Strawberry Arena and Mall of Scandinavia. ICA Gruppen and Vattenfall have their headquarters here. SEB moved into its office here in 2017–2018. According to SEB, the office was intended to accommodate about 4,500 employees. According to the City of Solna, Telia and Siemens also have operations here.
Solna Business Park
An established business area in western Solna that has grown out of old industrial areas. Housing and a preschool are also planned here.
Frösunda
The office buildings are along the E4/Uppsalavägen and the railway, with housing behind them.
Hagastaden
This is where Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institutet are, with a campus for research and companies in life science. Solna is building the district together with Stockholm; see Office space in central Stockholm.

Frequently asked questions
- Arenastaden or Solna Business Park?
- Arenastaden is a new district with Mall of Scandinavia, restaurants and lots of services. Solna Business Park is a dedicated office area and can be a more rational choice for companies that prioritise function, transport links and cost.
- Is Solna cheaper than the inner city?
- Often, but the difference depends a great deal on the building and the exact location. The best newly built offices in Solna are not a budget option.
- Will it be harder to recruit if we move from the inner city to Solna?
- It depends on where in Solna. Locations close to the commuter train, the metro and the light rail work much better than locations where the last part of the journey is awkward.
- Does SEB have its headquarters in Solna?
- SEB's registered office is in Stockholm, not in Solna. But SEB has a large office in Arenastaden, which SEB said was intended to accommodate about 4,500 employees.
- How long does it take from Arenastaden to T-Centralen?
- When the green line reaches Arenastaden, with services starting in 2028, the travel time to T-Centralen will be 11 minutes according to Region Stockholm. Today the commuter train stops at Solna station in Arenastaden.
