Before we start searching, we discuss together what you need from the new premises:\n\n- **Ways of working.** How you work, and what that means for workstations, meetings and shared spaces.\n- **Capacity.** How many people the premises need to accommodate, now and in the future.\n- **Location.** Where the premises need to be for the people who will work there and for those who will visit you.\n- **Timetable.** When you need to move in, and when you can give notice on your current lease.\n\nThen we shortlist the premises that fit, explain how each option could work for you and compare them side by side. See [how the areas of Stockholm differ](https://www.locality.se/en/offices/).\n\n## Then the full office search\n\nOnce we know what you need from the premises, we continue as in a normal [office search](https://www.locality.se/en/services/find-office-space/#sa-gar-det-till): a shortlist of premises, viewings of the ones you want to see, discussions with the landlord and a signed lease.\n\n## Good to know\n\nIf you already have premises that you will be leaving, the notice period decides when you can move:\n\n- **The notice period sets the timetable.** If your lease runs for an indefinite period, or for a fixed term longer than nine months, the notice period is usually at least nine months, but it can be longer depending on what you have agreed.\n- **The lease is extended if nobody gives notice.** If you have had the premises for more than nine months, notice must also be given on a fixed-term lease for it to end.
